FILTEC Demonstrates End-to-End Package Inspection Live at PACK EXPO 2022

FILTEC would like to thank everyone that came out to PACK EXPO International held in Chicago, Illinois, October 23-26, 2022. PACK EXPO International is the only event that showcases entire production line solutions, offers over 100 free educational sessions, and provides attendees with everything needed to compete in a changing marketplace. Offering show attendees more features than ever before to address unprecedented demands in the industry. With over 44,000 attendees and 2,200 exhibitors at this year’s event, PACK EXPO International was one of the largest industry events in 2022.

This year, FILTEC presented our brand-new solution: Remote Vision Inspection systems (RVI). FILTEC launched RVI in mid-2022, delivering a highly adaptable solution that inspects PET and glass bottles as well as aluminum cans for several applications, including Barcode track traceability; Label presence, position, and pattern match; Missing, high, or cocked cap; Major tamper band defects; Fill level inspection for PET and glass bottles; Lid and tab inspection for cans; and Seam damage inspection on aluminum cans.

“There was a lot of interest around RVI at this year’s show, because of its capabilities to meet such specific inspection needs such as cap color and tamper band inspection,” says FILTEC Chief Commercial Officer, Matthew Trowbridge. “We had a number of positive conversations about potential projects where RVI can be the perfect solution to their inspection needs.”
