The new solution aggregates thermal and vision technology to ensure the accuracy and precision of the inspection
FILTEC has been, a provider of food, beverage, household goods, and pharmaceutical inspection machines, has introduced a thermal glue inspection solution.
Designed for hot melt adhesive inspection, the new solution will provide businesses protection against potential product damages, and case ruptures.
It also allows them to safeguard against costs of carton rework labor and materials due to too much, too little, or improperly placed glue on product packaging.
The new solution aggregates thermal and vision technologies to ensure the accuracy and precision of the inspection.
The thermal glue inspection solution will also help identify and reject non-compliant cartons and cases consistently, as well as categorize defect patterns for reporting and maintenance.
FILTEC’s solution will allow to increase production line efficiency and deliver return on investment (ROI) with each use, with its small footprint, and automatic inspection head changeover. It also holds the potential to scan dates and lot codes.
FILTEC president and CEO Jim James Kearbey said: “FILTEC has an ongoing commitment to innovation, service, and quality in the inspection industry.
“Our new Thermal Glue Inspection technology is designed to help businesses in a wide range of industries maintain highly-efficient and cost-effective production lines.”
The new solution is based on the Intellect Container Inspection Platform, which incorporates different sensing and measurement technologies to deliver a total inspection solution for container quality.
The Intellect platform also enables users to view results from multiple inspection applications on one Operator Station.
In addition, the Intellect platform uses real-time data to calculate the health of the packaging process and offers relevant visual information to avoid costly problems.
